If I only had one more week to live
I wanted to go round the world
and be in different places
in one day.

If I only had one more week to live
I wanted to empty my bank account
and spend the money on jeweleries
clothes, shoes, and etcetera.

If I only had one more week to live
I wanted to eat all food on earth
and go to the best restaurants
ten meals daily.

If I only had one more week to live
I wanted to do things that I had never done;
I would break the rules
I would rob a bank
I would try drugs
I would smoke cigarettes
I would steal a car
I would vandalize billboards
...and the list is endless.

Wait..
What about the Hereafter?
Ohh, I should change my plan.

If I only had one more week to live
I would not go anywhere
I would not eat a thing
I would not spend a pence
I would not see anyone
I would not do anything

Instead,
I would just sit on my sejadah
all day and night
seeking forgiveness from Allah
So I could enter the Heaven.

Hmm....all the things that I've said
Don't they sound quite selfish?
They're all about me!


REALLY...................
What I wanted to do
If I only had one more week to live
I wanted to meet all whom I've loved;
Mom, dad, brothers, sisters, teachers, and friends.
I wanted to give them words of courage
so they wouldn't mourn my departure.
I wanted to console them
and tell them not to cry.
I wanted to wipe tears off their face
and give them a warm hug.
I wanted to hold their hands
and whisper to their ears..
"Don't you worry about me. I'll be fine.
You will be okay after I leave, right..?
Please carry on...and do smile for me" =)
